The Struggle to Create
The struggle to create, build, make, establish, etc. any business or organization starts with the simple issue of "what to build?"
Sounds simple but it is deeper. Yes, the initial issue of having an idea and then following up on it is difficult but that isn't actually step 1. Step 1 is asking yourself internally the question of: "Am I creating a solution or problem?"
Most people immediately say that they want to solve a problem but that is looking at the world through the eyes of Ghandi. Business exists to create demand or problems that continue indefinitely. Who is trying to solve a problem and cease to exist? And no, this is not going in the direction of conspiracies. This is identifying what a business's main purpose is.
Let's take META for example. They are causing so many issues with mental health, self-esteem, and biased algorithms but do they care? They are making money and aren't on the frontlines trying to stop it from happening since it brings in billions of revenues. And the occasional donation doesn't help save the public image issues.
Is it moral to create problems that you solve? Or let the problems go on to capitalize more? Does anyone care since we use social media 24/7 anyway. Doesn't seem to be any debate in the eyes of the public.
